World of Warcraft Rewards Visa offers game time with purchases

Posted by Amanda Lynn on July 27, 2009

The World of Warcraft Rewards Visa card is the first of its kind to use game time as a reward rather than cash or travel incentives. The card gives World of Warcraft fans an opportunity to display their interests by choosing one of thirteen themes based on character races, horde, alliance and the World of Warcraft logo.

The card benefits are of even greater interest with cardholders earning game with one point for every dollar spent. 1,500 points are equal to one full month of game time. The card is promoted as “the only card that pays you to play”. Card members will also receive one month of game time for the first purchase made using the World of Warcraft Visa card.

The card has no annual fee and a zero percent APR on all purchases and balance transfers for the first sixth months. The card has no maximum number of points available and points are valid for five years after being posted.
