U.S. Bank expanding Brookfield, Wisconsin credit card unit
U.S. Bank announced the expansion of its Brookfield, Wisc. Credit card issuing technology unit. The bank will be hiring 60 new employees with the expansion. The bank’s technology and operations service group currently has about 300 employees. The move will increase U.S. Bank’s employment numbers to 3,331 in southeastern Wisconsin and 4,804 in the whole state.
Bill Bertha, president of U.S. Bank in Wisconsin said that Brookfield’s selection “says a lot about the quality of our work force, the strong work ethic and the importance of the Milwaukee market for U.S. Bank going forward.”
